PSEB Punjab Board Class 5, 8 result soon at pseb.ac.in; previous year’s pass percent

Punjab Board 5th, 8th Result 2025: Students will have to enter their hall ticket number and date of birth to download the PSEB Class 5, 8 marksheet 2025.
NEW DELHI: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Mohali, will soon announce the Punjab Board 5th, 8th result 2025. Students who appeared for the exams will be able to check their PSEB Class 5, 8 result 2025 through the official website, pseb.ac.in.
Students will have to use their login credentials, such as hall ticket number and date of birth, on the official portal to download the Punjab Board 5th, 8th result 2025. The PSEB Class 5, 8 marksheet 2025 will also be available on DigiLocker, where students can download their digital marksheets. Students will need to enter their Aadhaar card number to log in to their DigiLocker account and access their Punjab Board Class 5 and Class 8 results.
The PSEB Class 5, 8 result marksheet will include details like the student's name, roll number, date of birth, parent's name, school name and code, subject-wise marks, total marks, qualifying status, grade, and remarks (if any). The PSEB 8th class exams were conducted between February 19 and March 7, 2025, while PSEB Class 5th exams 2025 were conducted from March 7 to 13.
PSEB 5th, 8th Result 2025: Last year’s pass percent
Last year, the overall pass percentage for PSEB Class 5 stood at 99.84%. According to the PSEB Class 5 result statistics, the Punjab Board 5th pass percentage was 99.81% for boys and 99.86% for girls. A total of 3,06,438 students appeared for the Punjab Board Class 5 exam.
A total of 2,91,917 students appeared for the PSEB Class 8 exam last year, out of which 2,86,987 students passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 98.31%, with girls securing a pass percentage of 98.83%, boys at 97.84%, and transgender students at 93.75%.

Punjab Board Class 5, 8 Result 2025: Grading system
Students will have to score at least 33% marks in each subject as well as in the overall aggregate to pass the Punjab Board Class 5 and Class 8 exam 2025. The grading system for PSEB Class 5, 8 result 2025 is given in the table below.
