Subscribe NowState Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab, announced the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) on the official website of PSEB at pstet2025.org. Candidates can check the result through their login credentials, including user name/ registration number and date of birth/password.
The important dates for PSTET 2026 are as follows: The exam was conducted on 15 March 2026, followed by the release of the provisional answer key on 16 March 2026. The final answer key was published on 28 March 2026, and the PSTET 2026 result was declared on 7 April 2026.
The PSTET 2026 result scorecard displays important details including the candidate’s full name, roll number, date of birth, and category. It also specifies the appeared paper (Paper I or II), subject specialization, marks obtained in each paper, and the overall qualifying status.

Students can now download their official PSTET certificates within two weeks of the result declaration. These certificates are valid for a lifetime and serve as mandatory proof of eligibility for candidates applying for teaching positions in Punjab government schools, with Paper 1 qualifying for Primary level and Paper 2 for Upper Primary level.
PSTET result 2026: Qualifying criteria and marking scheme
The PSTET qualifying criteria follow a fixed percentage system, requiring candidates in the General category to secure a minimum of 60% aggregate, while those in reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) must achieve at least 55% aggregate to qualify.
The PSTET 2026 marking scheme allocates one mark for each question in both Paper 1 and Paper 2, with 150 questions in each paper, making a total of 150 marks per paper. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
