Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) has declared the Punjab National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2025 round 1 seat allotment result. A total of 1,311 candidates are allotted seats in round 1, along with 14 candidates who are allotted seats under the Non‑Resident Indian (NRI) quota.

Candidates can submit objections to the Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 1 provisional merit list till today, November 25, 2025. After considering the objections, BFUHS will declare the final seat allotment list on November 27, 2025. Candidates allotted seats in this round will have to report to their respective colleges between November 28 and December 3, 2025, to complete document verification and other admission processes.

The Punjab NEET PG 2025 round 2 counselling schedule will be available soon on the official website. Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted in round 1 are not required to participate in the Punjab NEET PG second round of counselling.

However, candidates wishing to upgrade, shift, or change their seat can participate in round 2. To do so, candidates will need to submit their willingness on the official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website and deposit the requisite refundable security amount.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025: Security deposit for round 2

The refundable security deposit for participation in the second round of counselling is Rs 25,000 for government colleges and institutions, with a reduced amount of Rs 10,000 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC), or Persons with Disabilities (PWD). For private colleges, the security deposit is Rs. 2,00,000 for all categories.

During the second round of counselling, candidates can fill fresh preferences for courses, specialities, and colleges. Seat allotment in Round 2 will be based on merit and preferences submitted, with adjustments made for tuition fees already deposited in Round 1.
