Punjab NEET PG 2025 Round 2: 400 MD, MS seats allotted; 53 new seats added after HC order

Around 400 students have been allotted MD, MS, and diploma seats in the second round of the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2025. Candidates shortlisted in the Punjab NEET PG round 2 allotment list are required to complete the admission process between December 28 and 30 by reporting at the allotted college.

As per the Punjab NEET PG round 2 allotment result, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana; Government Medical College, Patiala; and Government Medical College, Amritsar were the three most preferred institutes by toppers.

The state counselling dates were extended to the addition of new seats. A total of 53 new seats have been added in four medical colleges in the state, as per the interim order issued by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

“The increased seats at Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda are subject to final outcome in the CWP No. 39046 of 2025,” it added.

Candidates who wish to raise objections against the allotment will have to submit their grievances by 11 am on December 27 through the email ID - pgbfuhs@ggsmch.org. The provisional allotment will be revised if any valid objections are submitted, and the final allotment will be displayed on December 27.

Selected students will have to pay the balance amount of the six-month fee after deducting the amount of the security deposit through the university payment gateway. Medical colleges will conduct the document verification and admission process between December 28 and 30.
