Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling registration will end on December 12. Candidates will have to submit their choices, make fee payment, and upload documents through bfuhs.ac.in.

NEW DELHI: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot will commence the round 2 Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 registration for MD, MS, MDS, PG diploma admissions today. Along with Punjab NEET PG counselling registration window, the university will also notify the tentative seat matrix for the second round of counselling on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in.
As per the fee details, students applying for government medical colleges in Punjab will have to pay Rs 25,000 as security deposit, however, those belonging to scheduled caste (SC) or backward classes (BC) will have to pay only Rs 10,000. If a candidate wants to apply for private medical college or both government and private medical seats, they are required to pay Rs 2 lakh as security deposit.
Those who are applying under Sikh minority, Christian minority quota have been instructed to report to the respective minority institution - SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar and Christian Minority College, Ludhiana, for verification of minority status on December 10.
Meanwhile, the portal for round 1 seat allotted candidates to exercise ‘free exit’ facility will be functional till December 14.
The following categories of candidates are eligible for Punjab NEET PG round 2 seat allotments.
Category 1 - Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted in the round 1 counselling.
Category 2 - Registered candidates whose first allotted seat got cancelled during the documents verification. reporting for admission, who have secured under reserved quota, due to change of category from reserved to unreserved or PWD status from yes to no, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed category, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Category 3 - Candidates who have reported or joined at allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and submitted willingness for participating in second round up-gradation as yes.
Category 4 - Candidates who have exited during round 1 by availing ‘free exit’ facility will be able to login using earlier registered credentials.

The provisional merit list will be published on December 11 and the seat allocation results will be declared on December 21.
