Rajasthan CM said the state government is committed to implementing NEP 2020 for skill-based and employment-oriented education. He added that teachers’ issues will be addressed promptly and effectively.
NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday said that India has always been blessed with a great 'guru-shishya' tradition, where the teacher acts as a true guide, philosopher and mentor to the student. "Teachers are the vital link between society, culture, and policy. The positive and progressive environment that prevails in society today has been made possible through the tireless efforts of teachers. It is they who can fulfil Swami Vivekananda's dream of guiding the youth and giving direction to the nation," he said.
Sharma was speaking at the national convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shikshak Mahasangh (ABRSM) in Jaipur. He said that the state government is committed to implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 effectively to provide skill-based and employment-oriented education to students. "The government considers the problems of teachers as its own and will ensure their timely redressal," he added.

Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that Rajasthan has made remarkable progress in the field of education, rising from the 11th to the 3rd position nationally within a year.
ABRSM National president Prof. Narayan Lal Gupta highlighted the organisation's journey and achievements.
