Rajasthan NEET PG medical and dental 2020 counselling schedule revised

NEW DELHI: Postgraduate Medical Admission/Counselling Board and SMS Medical College, Jaipur has released the revised schedule for Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2020 on April 16. As per the official notice, the authority resumes the counselling process for PG medical/dental counselling from April 19, 2020. Along with the revised schedule, the authority has also released the list of non-eligible PG candidates. The counselling will be conducted for admission to around 977 MD and 469 MS seats offered by 19 medical colleges of the state under 50% state quota seats. While the remaining 50% of seats from government medical colleges will be granted under All India Quota (AIQ) seats offered by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

About Choice Filling & Locking
During the counselling of Rajasthan PG medical and dental, aspirants will be required to login to provide their preferences of colleges as well as courses. Candidates should know that it is extremely important to lock those choices before the last given date. If an aspirant fails to do so, then the choices will automatically be locked on the last date.
What’s Next?
After the choice filling and locking session, the authority will conduct the seat allotment process. The seat allotment will be done on the choices filled by the aspirants in the choice filling session, NEET PG rank, seats availability, reservation of seats and other factors. Once the seats have been allotted, the eligible candidates need to download the seat allotment letter on April 25, 2020, and report at designated colleges for verification of documents and completion of the admission process. The date to report to the allotted college set by the authority is April 27 to May 3, 2020.
