NEW DELHI: The state assembly today passed the Rajasthan Coaching Center Regulation and Control Bill 2025 to regulate the coaching institutes and ensure student safety. Deputy chief minister Premchand Bairwa presented the bill in the House.
The Rajasthan coaching bill includes provisions to regulate coaching centers in the state, implement minimum standards for registration, protect students' interests, provide career guidance for mental health, ensure students' safety, and offer academic support during examinations.
The Rajasthan Cabinet recently approved the bill, drafted on the basis of the guidelines issued by the central government, specific requirements of the state and after discussions with various stakeholders.
After the cabinet meeting, the deputy CM said that once the coaching law is implemented across the state, it will be mandatory for all coaching centres to register themselves. Coaching institutes with 50 or more students will come under legal scrutiny.
In order to ensure transparency in the management of coaching centres, the Rajasthan government will set up a state-level portal, along with a 24x7 helpline for student counselling. The Rajasthan Coaching Institutes (Control and Regulation) Authority will be set up too.
The bill defines the conditions for coaching centre registration, tutor qualifications, student enrollment, advertisements, and operational requirements. The terms and conditions for registration under Rajasthan Coaching Centre Control and Regulation Bill 2025 are given below.
