Rajasthan PTET 2025 registration deadline extended for BEd admission; apply by April 17

NEW DELHI: The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) Kota has extended the registration deadline for the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2025. Eligible candidates can now fill out the Rajasthan PTET 2025 application form till April 17 through the official website at ptetvmoukota2025.in.

The Rajasthan PTET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on June 15 for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme in various colleges across Rajasthan. To register for the Rajasthan PTET 2025 exam, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

Science stream candidates who apply for both the four-year Bachelor of Arts–Bachelor of Education (BA BEd) and Bachelor of Science–Bachelor of Education (BSc BEd) programmes will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000.

Rajasthan PTET 2025: Education qualification

The education qualification for Rajasthan PTET 2025 is given below.

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognised university.
• Reserved category candidates, including scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward class, extremely backward class, persons with disabilities (PwD), widows and divorcee women (only permanent residents of Rajasthan) must have a minimum of 45 percent marks in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Candidates who cleared their graduation in a single sitting are not eligible for PTET 2025, even if they have completed their postgraduation later.
• Candidates who passed BAP, BCP or BScP examinations from Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, and later completed a three-year undergraduate degree, are eligible for PTET 2025 based on qualification and eligibility.
