Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University announces admissions 2020

NEW DELHI: India’s sole Aviation University, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), Amethi, Uttar Pradesh has announced the admissions for 2020. Aspiring candidates can apply for admissions to Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) in Aviation Services and Air Cargo and Post Graduate Diploma in Airport Operations till July 29. To apply for these courses, candidates have to fill and submit an online application form at the university website - rgnau.ac.in.
While filling the online applications for the courses, candidates also have to pay Rs. 950 (General/OBC) and Rs. 475 (SC/ST/PwD) as application fee. The fee is non-refundable; any bank or payment gateway service charges must be borne by the applicant.
Further, the candidates have to appear in an OMR based entrance examination, which will be conducted on All India basis on August 16, 2020.
BMS Programme and Eligibility
Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) in Aviation and Air Cargo is a three years apprenticeship embedded degree programme being offered in collaboration with the Logistics Skill Council. The entire 3rd year course comprises an on-the-job apprenticeship with airlines, airports, cargo, MRO, ATC and ground services companies.
For admission to BMS, the candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2, with mathematics or business statistics or business mathematics as one of the subjects. Relaxation of 5% marks is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Aspiring candidates should be below 21 years of age as on August 31, 2020 and should be able to produce the final mark sheet by October 31, 2020.
PGDAO Programme and Eligibility
Post-Graduate Diploma in Airport Operations (PGDAO) is an 18-month course being run in collaboration with GMR Aviation Academy. The course includes 12 months classroom training at the University campus and 6 months internship programme at GMR Airports.
For admission to PGDAO course, candidates must have secured minimum 55% marks in aggregate in graduation from a recognised university. Relaxation of 5% of marks is allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. In order to be eligible for admission, a candidate should be below 25 years of age as on August 31, 2020 and should be able to produce the final mark sheet by October 31, 202
