The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Grade B prelims result 2026 for the recruitment of Officer Grade B (General). Candidates who appeared for the phase 1 examination can now check the merit list PDF at opportunities.rbi.org.in to know whether they have qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.
The result has been released in PDF format and contains only the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the Phase 2 examination. The RBI Grade B Phase 1 examination was conducted on June 13, 2026.
According to the official notification, the Phase 2 examination will be held on July 25, 2026, in two shifts. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for all three papers – Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3.

Candidates can follow these steps to download the result PDF:
Visit the official RBI website at rbi.org.in
Click on the "Opportunities@RBI" section available at the bottom of the home page.
Next, click on the “Current Vacancies” section and then select the results.
Then, click “ Result of Phase-I Examination for Recruitment of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) - General Cadre – Panel Year 2026”
Now, click the result PDF
Search for your roll number using Ctrl+F.
Download the result and print out the PDF for future reference.
The RBI has informed candidates that individual Phase 1 scorecards and category-wise cut-off marks will be released separately on its official website. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards once the links are activated.

The admit card for phase 2 will be issued in online mode on the official website only. The complete exam schedule and venue for phase 2 will be announced in the admit card.
