REET certificate validity extended for lifetime: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot
The BSER had released the REET 2021 level 1 cut-off in online mode. Candidates can download the REET level 1 cut off 2021 at education.rajasthan.gov.in.

NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced that the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) certificate validity has been extended to a lifetime. The decision was taken in a meeting of the state Cabinet held on Saturday at the Chief Minister's residence under the chairmanship of CM Ashok Gehlot.
“In the meeting, the cabinet decided that the validity of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 'REET' in the state will now be lifelong,” the chief minister tweeted. Earlier, the REET certificated were valid for upto seven years, which was later reduced to three years.
The Rajasthan government recently announced REET 2021 exam will be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education on July 23 and 24, 2022. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on February 7 announced the cancellation of Level-2 examination of REET 2021 amid accusations of largescale irregularities. He also announced to reconduct the exam for 62,000 posts instead of the existing 32,000 posts.
The chief minister further said that no application fee will be charged from the old candidates for the REET 2022 exam to be held afresh and all the facilities given to the candidates at the time of REET examination will also be made available again.

On June 3, 2021, the then education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced the extension of validity for Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) certificates to lifetime. The validity of the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate was extended till lifetime by the National Council for Teacher Education in 2020. The government decided to introduce the same for the state teacher eligibility test as well.
