Registration for Mahatma Gandhi Central University UG programmes starts for 2023 session

CUET Result 2023: The mgcubcuet.samarth.edu.in website is hosting the application form for admission to Mahatma Gandhi Central University UG programmes.
NEW DELHI: The Mahatma Gandhi Central University Bihar has opened the application window for the online registration of students for undergraduate admission to the university. The students seeking admission to the university and its affiliated colleges for programmes -- BTech, BCom and BA in journalism and mass communication will have to register at the official website – mgcubcuet.samarth.edu.in.
The last date to register for the UG programmes is July 26 and candidates will have to register by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500, while it is Rs 200 for candidates uner reserved categories.
Eligible candidates, as per a university statement, who have registered themselves shall be called for counselling at the level of the department on the basis of the merit list offline.
Mahatma Gandhi Central University Bihar Admission 2023: Eligibility
To be considered eligible for BCom programme, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with accounting or mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level securing a minimum of 50% marks. A relaxation of 5% marks, from 50% to 45%, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), differently-abled, EWS and other categories of candidates.
For admission to BTech programmes, the student must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects (Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, Technical Vocational) with a minimum of 50% marks.
Class 12 qualified students with minimum aggregate marks of 50 percent will be eligible to register for MGCU Bihar BA mass communication and journalism programme.
