The National Testing Agency has announced the CUET UG result 2023 via online mode on July 15. NTA has also made the direct link to download the CUET UG 2023 result available on the official NTA CUET website - nta.ac.in

Subsequently, the universities will release the CUET 2023 cutoff marks and merit list for CUET admissions 2023. Once selected, successful candidates must submit the required documents and make the necessary payments to complete the admission process. It is possible that participating universities will issue multiple cutoff lists based on the availability of seats.

The Banaras Hindu University will provide admissions to UG courses through CUET result. "The BHU registration portal for UG programmes 2023, will open again for 5 days after the announcement of CUET (UG) result by the NTA," reads the notice available on the BHU website. Earlier, BHU closed its UG registration process on June 26.

The CUET result 2023 was announced on July 15 for around 11.11 lakh students. Much like previous year, this year also the number of students scoring 100 percentile were higher in streams like commerce and humanities in comparison to that of science. A total of 22,836 students scored 100 percentile.

The CUET marks plays an important role in preparing the merit list by the universities offering admissions through the CUET UG scores. The marks scored by the candidates in Class 12 is not considered for UG admissions in these universities.

Candidates have to register for the CUET counselling 2023 of the participating universities on their admission portal. Some of the universities like BHU, DU and AUD Delhi have already started their registration process.

As many as 3.83 students missed the second edition of the CUET UG exam 2023 due to issues like late admit card, far placed exam centres. CUET UG result has been announced on July 15.

Each section is allotted 200 marks and each question carry 5 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response by the candidate.

Visva Bharati University has announced admissions through CUET, wherein students are required to appear for the departmental entrance test in addition to CUET. The selection process for admissions will have equal weightage given to CUET scores and the department-wise entrance test, with a ratio of 50:50. It is important to note that the weightage may vary for certain courses based on specific requirements and criteria.  

Jawaharalal Nehru University will offer admission to its UG programmes on the basis of CUET UG result.

A total of 4850 students scored 100 percentile in the biology domain test of CUET 2023, while 18,405 students managed to score more than 95 percentile.

CUET 2023 spot admission can be applied by candidates who have been unsuccessful in earlier rounds of counselling. If vacant seats are announced by participating universities, then they can apply. A candidate must verify their documents on the campus of their desired school in order to qualify for spot admission to CUET 2023.

After the declaration of CUET UG result 2023, participating universities will invite applications for admission to undergraduate CUET courses. The National Testing Agency will use the “Equipercentile method” to prepare the CUET result 2023. The raw score of each candidate in each subject will be normalised using this method. Each subject for which CUET exam is held in multiple shifts, raw marks will be converted into normalised marks on a common scale.

Since CUET UG 2023 exam was conducted in several shifts, NTA has used a normalization process to eliminate the differences in the difficulty level of the exam. Accordingly, the raw scores of students will be converted into NTA score through the following steps:

• First, record the number of candidates who have appeared in a shift. Denote this number by N.
• Next, sort all the candidates in one shift in decreasing order of their marks.
• Note the raw marks for each candidate. Suppose this is denoted by T. Count the number of candidates in that shift whose raw scores are less than or equal to T. Denote this number by m.
• The percentile score for this candidate is then calculated as: P = ?/ ? * 100

Around 14.90 lakh candidates await the CUET UG result and have been asking about the final declaration of the CUET result. According to a statement given to PTI, the UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar said that the result will be announced by July 17.

The University of Kerala will soon announce cutoffs based on the CUET score 2023 for admissions to BA (International Relations) and a four-year integrated teacher education programme (ITEP) in BSc-BEd, BA-BEd, and BCom-BEd.

NTA released the CUET 2023 final answer key on its official website -- nta.ac.in, on July 12, 2023. NTA also released the CUET 2023 revised answer key on its official website on July 3, 2023.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute is a deemed-to-be-university and accepts the CUET (UG) - 2023 score for admission to UG programmes like BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BVoc, etc. 

The Central University of Rajasthan will provide admissions through CUET 2023 and the admission process will begin this month, based on the marks scored in the CUET 2023 conducted by the NTA. Candidates will have to fill out the registration form provided on the official website. The Central University of Rajasthan will prepare the merit list based on the marks scored by candidates in the CUET 2023 entrance examination.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on July 13, 2023, has announced the total seats available for the BA (ENG) (HONS) programme for the academic session 2023-24 in the first round of allotment is 60 (intake) for the Bharti Vidya Bhawan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg institute.

A user on Twitter has asked the UGC and Ministry of Education, Government of India, for clarifications about filling in the university choice in the CUET form.

Aligarh Muslim University will be enrolling students for the 2023 academic session in its undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 score. AMU will announce the cutoffs for UG prorammes after the CUET result has been declared. The CUET 2023 result is expected to be announced on July 17 as per the latest update.

Candidates who are awaiting the CUET UG result are advised to call or email the NTA helpdesk regarding their queries about the CUET result, CUET final answer key, CUET UG score card 2023, CUET percentile score, CUET merit list, etc on the official website of NTA. The candidates can send mails to -- cuet-ug@nta.ac.in and call the NTA helpdesk numbers 011- 40759000 and 011-69227700.

The CUET 2023 exam was conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode. The CUET exam had objective type with multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates were able to choose from among 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu ). For general test, candidates had to attempt 50 questions out of 60 and for all other subjects including languages, 35-40 questions were to be attempted out of 45-50. 

With the delay in CUET UG results, students have been reacting on Twitter about getting the right college, delays in studies, etc. A Twitter user says, "I do not want to think about the future, I can't think of a future. Every participating college and university announces its cutoff for admissions through CUET on their respective websites. NTA will not release the CUET cutoff marks.

The CUET application forms were released on February 9, 2023. The CUET application window closed on April 11, 2023. The CUET UG result is expected on or before July 17.

CUET final result tentative date has been announced by the UGC chief M Jagadesh Kumar. Candidates who appeared for the CUET UG exam 2023 have to now get ready for the CUET UG 2023 counselling.

The Central University of Jammu is admitting students to its UG and PG through CUET 2023. Integrated BSc- MSc Hons in botany, zoology, chemistry, physics and economics are some of the programmes in Central University of Jammu.

Explaining the reason as to why NTA is taking so much time to declare result, UGC chairman on Thursday said: "The CUET UG results will be announced latest by July 17. When we announce the results, it should be error-free. And look at the complexity of administering the CUET-UG -- 841 question papers were used, 214 in different languages, 534 in English and Hindi and 93 in 11 regional languages as the medium. The total number of questions in these papers was 1.48 lakh."

University of Jammu will provide admissions to the candidates in various UG programmes like integrated BSc (hons) - MSc in botany, zoology, chemistry, and physics. The candidates can also pursue an integrated BA-BEd programme through their CUET UG 2023 scores.

Candidates seeking to learn Chinese can apply for a certificate programme in Chinese from Tezpur University. The university will provide admission through a valid CUET UG score. The certification programme in Chinese is for a one-year duration.

 Amity University Noida offers admission to various integrated UG (special education) like BA, BCom, BSc, etc.

Pondicherry University will offer admissions to various integrated programmes through CUET UG 2023. These include integrated MSc in applied geology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, and statistics. Candidates seeking admission in the Central University of Haryana can apply for integrated BSc-MSc programme in chemistry, mathematics, and physics . The university also offers a four-year integrated teacher education programme (ITEP) that is BA BEd. The admissions will be on the basis of CUET UG 2023 score.

Candidates can seek admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) for all branches in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) Garhwal University through their CUET (UG) 2023 score. 

Candidates seeking admission to BTech lateral entry (2nd Year) must have passed either  BSc or three-four year diploma in engineering with 45 percent aggregate (40 percent in case of candidate belonging to BSc stream passed Class 12 with mathematics  as a subject) and the CUET  (UG)  2023 score.

CUET UG Result 2023: AMU will offer admissions to 6 courses through CUET 

Since CUET UG 2023 exam was conducted in multiple shifts in a day, the NTA will be using a normalization process to eliminate the differences in the difficulty level of the exam. Accordingly, the raw scores of students will be converted into NTA score through the following steps:

• Record the number of candidates who have appeared in a shift. Denote this number by N.
• Sort all the candidates in one shift in decreasing order of their marks.
• Note the raw marks for each candidate. Suppose this is denoted by T. Count the number of candidates in that shift whose raw scores are less than or equal to T. Denote this number by m.
• The percentile score for this candidate is then calculated as: P = ?/ ? * 100

The admission to the Central University of Haryana will be done through CUET UG 2023. The university offers admission to BTech, BSc, BVoc, and integrated BSc-MSc programmes through the CUET UG scores. Each course has its separate eligibility criteria with Class 12 being the common one. Interested students will be able to apply for admissions on the official website -- cuh.ac.in.
