RPF admit card 2018 released on December 9; know how to download

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 9 : Ministry of Railways has issued the admit card of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) for the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constable on December 9, 2018 (12 am). The admit card has been issued for RPF SI (Group E and F) and Constable (Group E) candidates whose exams are scheduled on December 19 and 20 respectively.
The admit card is being issued to candidates 10 days prior to the date of their respective examination. So, they need to download the hall ticket according to the date of their exam. Candidates can download RPF admit card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) using registration number and date of birth. The admit card consists of candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, exam centre, time and date of exam, etc.

The Ministry of Railways releases the admit card in three exam stages - Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Measurement Test (PET/ PMT) and Document Verification. Candidates will be shortlisted to appear for each exam stage on the basis of performance in the previous stage of the exam.
Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1 will be called for PET/ PMT. After PET/ PMT, the Commission will shortlist candidates for Document Verification based on marks obtained in Paper 1, provided they qualify PET/ PMT.
According to RPF exam pattern, the Computer Based Test will comprise 120 questions and candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete the exam. As each question will contain 1 mark, the test will be held for 120 marks. CBT will comprise questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
RPF recruitment will be conducted in three phases - Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test & Physical Measurement Test (PET/ PMT) and Document Verification. For the recruitment year 2018-19, the examination authority has announced 1120 vacancies for the post of RPF Sub Inspector (SI) while for RPF Constable, 8619 vacancies are available.
