RRB ALP 2018 Second Stage exam to commence from Jan 21

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 4: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the exam dates for the second stage of RRB ALP 2018. As per the official notification, the exam will be conducted on January 21, 22 and 23, 2019. The revised result of RRB ALP for the first stage along with the revised list of shortlisted candidates will be published on December 20, 2018.
“Few candidates have submitted representations that there are errors in question/translation. In the wake of these representation all language translation of the question papers are being reviewed. After this review process, fresh result of 1st stage will be announced,” the official notification stated.
The RRB ALP revised result will be declared at http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/ . The result will display the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Over 9 lakhs candidates will be selected for the second stage exam based on the result of the first stage.
Qualified candidates will be issued admit cards for the second stage four days before the exam. RRB ALP admit card for the second stage is likely to be issued from January 19, 2019.
The exam pattern for the second stage consist of two parts – A and B. Part A will carry questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The test will carry 100 questions which candidates will have to answer within 90 minutes. Maximum marks allotted for the exam is 100. Part B have questions from candidates respective trades. There will be total 75 questions and duration of the test is 60 minutes.
RRB ALP examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates for the posts of Technicians and Assistant Loco Pilots. As many as 64,371 vacancies will be filled through this exam.
