RRB ALP 2018 Second Stage Exam Postponed

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 12 – Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have postponed the second stage exam of RRB ALP. The second stage exam of RRB ALP will be conducted from December 24, 2018. Earlier the second stage exam was scheduled to be conducted from December 12 to 14. RRBs have confirmed the exam dates through an official notification. According to the chairpersons of RRBs, “We have announced the result of first stage along with the provisionally shortlisted candidates on November 2. While reviewing the final answer key, candidates have raised objections regarding discrepancies in the answers of certain questions. When we analysed the answer key, there were errors in the answers of few questions. Considering this fact, the process of reviewing the answer key is in progress. The revised answer key, result, scorecard and list of shortlisted candidates will be published again. Due to this reason, we had to postponed the second stage exam of RRB ALP”
Candidates qualifying the first stage exam will be issued RRB ALP admit card by December 20, four days before the scheduled date of exam. The admit card will be available online. Candidates will have to login with their user ID and password. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent to candidates by post.
According to the exam pattern, the second stage exam will consist of two parts – A and B. Part A of the second stage CBT will have questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness. Part B will contain relevant trade-related questions. Total marks allotted to Part A are 100 while that for Part B are 75.
RRB ALP exam is being conducted to select candidates for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. As many as 64,371 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam
