NOVEMBER 12: RRB ALP 1st Stage result cancelled

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have cancelled the result of RRB ALP first stage due to discrepancies in the final answer key. According to the official notification, “RRBs have received  representations from the candidates against the answers and questions in the answer key. In response to this, the boards have decided to examine RRB ALP answer key again. After this review, final answer key along with the revised scores will be published. Moreover, RRBs have also received several requests for postponing the exam of second stage as the dates were clashing with RRB Group D exam as well as other academic examination. In view of this, the exam of second stage CBT which was earlier scheduled to conducted from December 12 to 14 has been postponed to December 24, 2018”.

November 2: RRB ALP Result 2019 announced

RRB ALP 2018 result for first stage has been announced for first stage on November 2, three days before the scheduled date. The result displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. RRBs has also released the region-wise cutoff along with the result. The scorecard of candidates contains the actual marks, qualifying status and normalised scores of candidates. 

October 30: RRBs announce the result date of ALP 

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has announced the result date of RRB ALP. As per the official notification, RRB ALP result will be announced on or before November 5. The Boards will release the actual marks and normalised scores of candidates along with the result. 

September 29: RRBs extend the last date for modification of RRBs and adding additional qualification

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the last date for modification of RRBs and adding additional qualification. As per official notification, the facility to submit additional educational qualification and modify the selected RRB, post and exam trade is available from October 1 to 6, 2018.

September 27: RRB ALP result will be announced in October

As per RRB officials of different regions, the result will be declared after October 1, once the process of option filling is complete. We have compiled below the quotes of RRB officials of different regions on the declaration of result.

RRB Chandigarh - “The result of RRB ALP first stage will be declared in October. The list of qualified candidates will be made available in PDF file,” said RRB Chandigarh officials.

RRB Ahemadabad- “The result preparation is in progress and will be announced anytime soon. The dates will be confirmed once this process is over,” said RRB Ahemadabad officials.

RRB Malda - “The result will be announced in October. Currently, candidates are filling up their option for RRBs, Posts, trades etc. After this process gets over, we will announce the RRB ALP result,” said RRB Malda officials.

RRB Ajmer - “RRB ALP result of first stage will be declared by the end of October. To check the result, candidates will have to login with their registration number or roll number,” said RRB Ajmer officials.

September 25: RRB ALP objection submission closed

RRB ALP objection submission ended on September 25. RRBs had allotted a time-frame of 4 days to candidates for submitting their objections against the answer key if any. The objections submitted by candidates against RRB ALP answer key 2018 will be examined by expert committee. The final answer key will be prepared after resolving the objections. The merit list of candidates will be determined based on the final answer key.

September 21: RRBs revise vacancies for ALP & Technician Posts

RRBs recently have revised the vacancies for ALP and Technician posts. With revised vacancies, the total number of vacancies have gone up by 143%. As many as 64371 vacancies have been announced which earlier was 26,502. 

September 21: RRBs once again activates the link to download answer key and raise objections

The link to download RRB ALP answer key and raise objection was activated on September 21. Earlier, the window to raise objection and download answer key was made live on September 14. However, due to some technical issues it was deactivated.

August 24: RRB ALP 2018 exam rescheduled for Kerala Candidates

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) rescheduled the first stage CBT exam for Kerala candidates due to floods. The examination for these candidates was conducted on September 4.

August 9: RRB ALP begins

The computer based test of RRB ALP began on August 9. The test was conducted in multiple sessions in different dates. More than 47 lakh candidates applied for the exam.

August 5: RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 Released

The admit card of RRB ALP was released on August 5. RRB ALP admit card was issued four days prior the date of scheduled exam. The admit card was available online and candidates had to download it as per the region they have applied for.

August 3: Notice on Exam Language

RRBs on August 3 issued notice regarding exam language. As per the official notice, candidates had the option to choose any one from the list of 15 languages.

August 2: Notice on increase in RRB ALP & Technician vacancies

RRBs on August 2 notified that the total number of vacancies for ALP and Technician posts will be increased to 60,000 from 26,502.
