NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 20: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have declared the revised result of RRB ALP for first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) on December 20, 2018. it must be noted that in the result, candidates can only check their scores and download their scorecards and final answer key at http://www.rrcb.gov.in/rrbs.html. The result (in the form of scorecard) can be accessed by the candidates by entering their user ID and password (date of birth) in the log in window. RRB ALP scorecard contains registration number, roll number, name of the candidate, raw marks, pro-rated marks, normalised marks, qualifying status, exam trade and post preferences.
Through the result of RRB ALP result 2018 for 1st stage CBT, candidates can check whether they have been selected for the next stage of the recruitment process or not. A pdf file containing the roll number of candidates shortlisted for second stage CBT will also be released by the examination authority shortly.
Earlier, RRBs had announced the first stage result on November 2 but the Boards had invalidated the same after receiving representations from candidates regarding discrepancies in the answer key. Analysis of the previous result had revealed that the conducting authorities had failed to shortlist the required number of candidates. The authority had only shortlisted 5,88,604 candidates to appear for the second stage exam.
Based on the revised result, shortlisted candidates will now be issued admit card for second stage of the exam. RRB ALP CBT 2 is scheduled to be conducted on January 21, 22 and 23.
As per the minimum qualifying cut off prescribed by the Boards, general category candidates should obtain 40% or more in the exam while OBC and SC category candidates must secure at least 30% marks. Candidates belonging to ST category will need to obtain minimum 25% to qualify the exam stage. The minimum qualifying marks of Part B for all categories is 35%.
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) is conducting RRB ALP 2018 in 21 regions to recruit candidates for Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians posts in Indian Railways. The exam is held in four stages – CBT 1, CBT 2, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Document Verification. Based on candidates’ performance, the Boards will publish the final merit list after completion of all stages of the exam. On the basis of post and trade preference selected by candidates, they will be recruited for the opted post as per rank secured in the merit list.
