RRB JE 2019 Exam Begins for First Stage CBT; Know Details Here

NEW DELHI, MAY 22: The exam of RRB JE 2019 for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) has begun. The test is being held for all the RRB regions by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) at various Regional Centres across the country from May 22 to 26, 2019. The authority is conducting the test to shortlist the candidates for the second stage of CBT for the recruitment of Junior Engineers.
Candidates who have brought their admit card along with the prescribed photo ID proofs - Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Employee ID card, PAN Card and Passport have been allowed to appear for the CBT 1 stage of examination.
The exam contains a total of 100 questions divided into four sections - Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and General Sciences. There are a total of 30 questions from Mathematics, 25 questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 15 and 30 questions from General Awareness and General Sciences respectively. A total of 1 hour 30 minutes have been given to the candidates to complete the examination. For any wrong response given by the candidate, 1/3rd marks are being deducted.
The authority will publish the official RRB JE answer key few days after the conclusion of the examination. Through the answer key, candidates will be able to know all the correct and wrong answers of the questions asked in the exam.
RRB JE exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates as Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts at various RRBs. As per the notification of RRB JE 2019, this year, a total of 13,487 vacancies have been announced by the exam conducting authority.
