New Delhi, May 8: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the exam date for RRB JE first stage CBT. According to RRB officials, RRB JE first stage CBT 2019 examination will be held from May 22 onwards. Though the starting date of RRB JE 2019 first stage examination has been announced, the authorities have not declared the concluding date for it. Thus, candidates, who have filled in their application form for RRB JE 2019 have to wait for rest of the exam dates.
Registered candidates will be able to download their admit card 4 days prior to the examination day. As the rest of the dates for the first stage CBT are not announced, candidates have to download their RRB JE hall ticket as per the different dates of their exam. After downloading their hall ticket, candidates have to bring one of the prescribed original ID proof, call letter and passport size colour photograph to the examination centre on the exam day. Candidates having photocopy/xerox copy of ID proof (or) laminated copy of ID proof will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
RRB JE first stage CBT examination will be held for 90 minutes for 100 questions. The questions will be multiple type in nature. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. This means negative marking is applicable for this exam.
RRB JE 2019 first stage CBT exam will be held for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
