RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 exam for 8,113 vacancies today; admit card, dress code, list of barred items

RRB NTPC exam 2025 will be conducted for a duration of two hours. Candidates are required to carry the RRB NTPC admit card to the exam centre for verification purposes.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct the Non Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC) stage 1 exam from today. The RRB NTPC 2025 graduate level exam is held for filling 8,113 vacancies. Candidates will be appearing for the computer-based test (CBT) till June 24, as per the revised exam schedule.
Candidates are required to carry the RRB NTPC admit card 2025 downloaded from the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in, to the exam centre for verification purposes.
The RRB NTPC 2025 CBT 1 exam results 2025 will be used to recruit candidates for chief commercial-cum-ticket supervisor, station master, goods train manager, junior account assistant-cum-typist, senior clerk-cum-typist in various zonal railways and production units in Indian railways.
The RRB region-wise shortlisting for the second stage will be done at the rate of 15 times the vacancies. Candidates will be shortlisted for the CBT and tying test to an extent of 8 times the vacancies.
The exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied with a scribe. As per the marking scheme, there will be a negative marking of ⅓ marks for every incorrect answer in the CBT exam. “The 1st Stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the posts,” it said.
RRB NTPC 2025: Barred items
The railway board has banned a list of items in the premises of the exam hall. Those found in possession of barred items in the exam hall will lose their candidature.
- Electronic gadgets
- Mobile phones,
- Bluetooth,
- Pen drive,
- Laptops,
- Calculators,
- Wrist watches or any other communication devices
- Pen/pencil,
- Wallet/purses.
According to the RRB NTPC dress code 2025, belts, shoes, and metallic wears including ornaments etc are strictly prohibited. “Any infringement of this instruction shall entail summary rejection besides legal action including debarment from future examinations,” it said.
