NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board has successfully concluded the RRB NTPC 7th phase computer-based test (CBT) examination on July 31. The RRB NTPC exam was held at hundreds of centres across the country. All the COVID-19 protocols, SOPs and social distancing guidelines were followed during the RRB NTPC exam. The phase 7 RRB NTPC CBT-1 exam was conducted in two shifts - from 10:30 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 4:30 PM in online mode.

RRB NTPC exam analysis: Overview

  • Duration of the RRB NTPC CBT-1 exam is 90 minutes.

  • As per the RRB NTPC exam pattern CBT-1 is of 100 marks

  • A total of 100 questions are asked in the RRB NTPC exam

  • As per the RRB NTPC syllabus questions are asked from subjects like maths, general awareness and general intelligence and reasoning.

  • There is negative marking in the RRB NTPC exam i.e. 0.5 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

  • RRB NTPC qualifying cutoff marks are calculated using the normalization method.
