Sagar Institute of Science and Technology commences B.Tech Admission 2020

Candidates can now apply for B.Tech 2020 admissions into Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTEC). The application form is available in both online and offline mode. All candidates will have to submit the application form to participate in the admission process. The eligibility criteria also has to be checked. Admissions will be done on the basis of JEE Main or 10+2 qualifying exam scores. Currently, SISTEC offers five B.Tech programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
For admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by Sagar Institute of Science and Technology, the candidates will have to fulfil certain requirements. These conditions and requirements are listed out in the eligibility criteria and if the candidates are unable to fulfill them, they may be disqualified from the admission process.

Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam in science stream (PCM/PCB) from a recognized board/council/university either state or National or International.

The minimum aggregate marks should be 50% in case of General category and 45% in case of SC/ST/OBC category.
Application Process
Candidates will be able to access the application form for B.Tech 2020 admissions into Sagar Institute of Science and Technology in both online and offline mode. While filling out the application form, all of the required personal, academic and contact details have to be submitted. If the candidates fail to submit the application form, then they will not be allowed to participate in the admission process.
Admission/Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of the following channels:

JEE Mains - for 1st year admission based on JEE Main Score 2020

Qualifying Exam Based - for 1st year admission based on (10+2) result. However, priority will be given to JEE Main candidates.
Admission to B.Tech programmes is done through online counselling by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal. Candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process based on the merit list which will be prepared based on the basis of the scores secured in JEE Main 2020 and the qualifying exam marks.
There are two major rounds in MP DTE 2020 counselling.

Round 2 – Based on JEE Score (for seats left blank after 1st round)
Once these two rounds finish, students can go for College Level Counseling (CLC) for the admission process.
