NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2023 for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in 33 Sainik Schools across the country for the academic year 2023-24 on January 8, 2023. The last to apply for the AISSEE 2023 exam is today, November 30.
Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.
Students can register for AISSEE 2023 on the official website, aissee.nta.nic.in. To be eligible for Class 6 admission, candidates should be between 10 and 12 years as on March 31, 2023. Admission for girls in all Sainik Schools is open in Class 6 only.
To be eligible for Class 9 admission, students should be between 13 and 15 years as on March 31, 2023 and should have passed Class 8 from a recognised school, at the time of admission.
The AISSEE 2023 exam will be held in pen and paper mode and will consist of multiple choice questions. The last date for submission of fees is also today till 11.59 PM. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking.

How to fill for AISSEE application form 2022
Students can follow the steps given below to fill AISSEE 2023 application form.
- Visit the Sainik school admission official website, aissee.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "Application" link on the home page.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on the "Proceed" button.
- The Sainik School admission 2023 application form will appear.
- Enter personal details, medium of exam, school applied, choice of exam centres.
- Now, click on the "Save" button to generate the User ID and Password.
- Login using ID and password, and complete the registration form.
