Sainik School call letter for medical examination to be sent by post; check details

NEW DELHI, February 7 : Medical examinations for the candidates who qualified in the Sainik school entrance exam will be conducted by respective schools from February 11 to February 28, 2019. The medical examination will be held for the selected candidates of AISSEE exam conducted on January 6, 2019. The result was declared on February 4, 2019, in form of merit list of selected candidates.
The schedule and venue of the medical examination were announced along with result for most of the Sainik Schools. Others will release soon. Candidates can check their medical exam date from their respective Sainik school website.

The call letters for the medical exam will be sent Individually by registered post.

Candidates not in receipt of call letter by February 9, 2019, should contact the school.

Candidates who fail to receive the call letter for Medical Examination can report to the allotted venue on the respective date along with their Identity proofs.

The candidates will be required to appear for document verification one day prior to the medical examination.
The following documents are required to appear for manual verification and medical examination:

Five passport size coloured photograph (same as pasted on application form).

Birth certificate of candidate issued by the competent authority

Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.

Certificate from the Principal/Headmaster of the school where the child is presently studying showing his date of birth.

Certificate regarding caste for SC/ST category issued by competent authority.

Ward of Defence personnel to bring an appropriate certificate of Defence Category issued by the respective Arm/Service authorities.

Certified copy of discharge certificate in case of Ex-service Personnel.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of medical examination which will be released on March 11, 2019. The selected candidates will have to deposit the fee and get their seat reserved in respective Sainik School.
