NEW DELHI: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an advertisement for recruitment to the post of SBI Apprentice. The previous advertisement for the same recruitment to the post of SBI Apprentice was cancelled. The application process starts today. The last date to apply for the SBI Apprentice 2021 is July 26. The notification has been released on the official website of SBI - sbi.co.in .
The SBI 2021 exam for Apprentice is expected to be conducted in August 2021. Eligible candidates can apply for the SBI apprentice by paying the SBI application fee of Rs 300 (General/OBC/EWS). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
Who can apply for SBI Apprentice 2021?
Graduates falling in the age group 20 to 28 years can apply for the post. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given upper age relaxation.
What is the SBI Apprentice selection process?
There are two stages in the SBI Apprentice - online test and test of local language. Candidates who qualify in the online test will be eligible to appear in the local language test post in which they will be shortlisted for the vacant apprentice posts.
SBI Apprentice exam pattern
The SBI Apprentice online test will have questions from general/ financial awareness, general English, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability and computer aptitude. The paper will have 100 questions to be completed in 1 hour. There will be negative marking in the SBI Apprentice exam.
The local language is the second stage in the SBI Apprentice recruitment process. Candidates who produce their 10/12 certificate showcasing the said local language, will not be required to appear in the test.
Candidates final selection will be based on meeting the eligibility criteria, verification, qualifying in local language test and medical exam.
What after being selected as an SBI Apprentice?
Shortlisted candidates will be selected for 1 year as an apprentice and will get Rs. 15,000 as stipend. They will be given relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates (SBI Clerk) after completing the training.
