NEW DELHI, JUNE 22: State Bank of India (SBI) had conducted SBI Clerk Prelims exam on June 22 for all the four slots. As per the exam pattern of SBI Clerk, prelims exam had three sections - English Language, Reasoning and Numerical Ability. The exam was held for a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. Candidates had to finish the computer-based exam within 1 hour (20 minutes allotted to each section).

SBI Clerk prelims exam for the next shift is slated to be conducted on June 23 and 30. The result for prelims exam is expected to be released in the last week of July 2019 in online mode. Based on the prelims result, candidates will be shortlisted for the mains exam.
SBI Clerk exam is conducted in two phases - Preliminary and Mains followed by a test of the local language. Candidates are required to qualify in both the stages of SBI Clerk 2019 to be appointed as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. A total of 8693 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment year 2019-20.
