SBI Clerk Prelims Exam May be held on June 22 & 23

NEW DELHI, MAY 30 : State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to conduct SBI Clerk 2019 prelims exam on June 22 and 23 in online mode. The exam would be conducted on these dates could be understood from the fact that the last date for downloading SBI Clerk admit card for prelims exam is June 23, after which candidates would not be able to download the hall ticket. Also, the last date for downloading the admit card is the day when the examination is held. Therefore, from the fact that June 23 is the deadline for accessing SBI Clerk prelims hall ticket, the examination would most likely be held on June 22, 23, 2019.

However, it must be noted that these dates are tentative and are not announced by the SBI officials. There may be a couple of more dates in addition to June 22 and 23 when the exam would be conducted. But to know that it’s a wait and watch the situation, till the time the officials release the exact dates.

Earlier, on May 29, SBI had released the admit card of SBI Clerk prelims exam in online mode. Candidates can download the admit card till June 23 by using the required login credentials - registration number/roll number and date of birth/password. The exact details of the exam centre, timing and shift of SBI Clerk 2019 are mentioned in the admit card of the candidates. After downloading the admit card candidates must ensure that all the details in it are correct. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must immediately contact the exam conducting body and get all the errors rectified.

Though earlier the exam conducting body had announced the dates of mains examination along with the SBI Clerk 2019 notification on the official website - sbi.co.in, however, the dates for the prelims were not declared. According to the SBI officials, SBI Clerk mains is scheduled to be held on August 10, 2019.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted in two phases - Preliminary and Mains followed by a test of the local language. Candidates are required to qualify in both the stages of SBI Clerk 2019 to be appointed as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. A total of 8693 vacancies have been announced for the recruitment year 2019-20.
