SBI Clerk Result 2019 for Prelims Expected Soon; Check Steps to Download

NEW DELHI, JULY 18: State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to announce the prelims result of SBI Clerk 2019 anytime soon. The result will be announced for the test which was held on June 22, 23 and 30. Candidates will be able to check the result by visiting the official website - sbi.co.in, and use your login credentials - registration/roll number and date of birth/password in the result login window.

Steps to download the SBI Clerk Result 2019

  • Visit the official website - sbi.co.in.
  • Click on the SBI Clerk result link.
  • The link will redirect you to the result login window.
  • Enter login credentials - registration/roll number and password/date of birth in the result login window.
  • The screen will then display your result.
  • Download the SBI clerk result and save for future references.

The prelims result of SBI Clerk will contain the details like marks scored by the candidate in each section, minimum required cut off marks and the qualifying status of the candidates. Only those candidates will be considered qualified who will secure the category wise state cut off scores determined by the examination authority. In the prelims result, candidates, ten times the number of total vacancies will be shortlisted for the mains exam.

All those candidates who will be considered qualified will have to further appear for the mains exam which is slated to be held on August 10, 2019, after which the qualified candidates will have to go for document verification and then final allotment will be done.

SBI Clerk exam is conducted to recruit candidates at SBI under its Clerical cadre. The test is held in two stages - prelims and mains. The prelims exam of SBI Clerk is conducted for a total of 100 marks while the mains exam is held for a total of 200 marks. This year, SBI Clerk exam is being held for a total of 8693 vacancies (including special recruitment drive). However, the exam for the last year was held for a total of 7200 vacancies wherein 7954 candidates had qualified in the mains exam.
