NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court adjourned to Monday the hearing of a plea seeking direction to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 exam date change for second compartment, private patrachar exams. The court will hear the plea on September 6 (Monday).

A bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice KK Maheshwari heard the matter on August 31 and adjourned it to September 3 (today). The plea sought direction to change CBSE Class 12 date sheet to avoid a clash with other competitive exams and entrance tests being conducted for UG admissions 2021. And, to declare the results of the second compartment and private patrachar examinations.

The bench also has directed a copy of the plea to be served to the Standing Committee of the respondents that are CBSE, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
The CBSE board had declared the result of Class 12 on July 30 and the improvement exam will continue till September 15, 2021.
In other CBSE latest news, the board has released Class 10 and 12 sample papers for the 2021-22 academic session.
