Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains says the government has decided to raise the promotion quota for principals from 50% to 75%, paving the way for the elevation of 500 teachers to principal in government schools.
The programme designed for students from Classes 6 to 8 is aimed at developing the children's abilities and capacity to cope with the day-to-day stress for their better biopsychosocial development.
