NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26: The SLET Commission, Assam has extended the application last date for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2019. As per the official notification of SLET, candidates can fill and submit SET application form 2019 till January 10. The application fees for the same can be paid till January 12. Earlier, the deadline for filling the application form was December 31, 2018.

Thus, candidates who have not yet registered for SET (SLET) can fill the application form and deposit the application fees in offline mode within the given time frame.

Aspiring candidates can fill the SET application form in online mode, while the fee payment has to be done after two days of filling the application form through offline mode i.e. challan. Without filling all the information correctly and paying the requisite fee, the application form of SET 2019 is liable to be rejected. General category candidates have to pay Rs. 800, while OBC-NCL candidates need to pay Rs. 650 as application fee. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 600 whereas for PWD category candidates the fee is Rs. 400.

After successfully submitting the application form, a unique Application ID will be generated. Candidates have to use the application ID to download their admit card. The authority will issue the admit card in online mode only. Candidates must note that no admit cards will be sent to the candidates individually.

After application form submission, candidates will be given an opportunity to change the examination centre written on a plain paper and paying the change fee of Rs. 300 to the SLET commission within 7 days of application form submission. The application for change of centre must be forwarded by the Co-ordinator of the original centre. along with the centre change fee.

SET 2019 will be conducted on March 3, 2019 in nine centres (universities/colleges) across Northeastern states of India. The examination will be held for three papers. All the three papers will consist of objective type questions of the forms such as multiple choice, matching, assertion and reasoning and true and false. The test will be held on a day in two separate sessions for all the three papers. The paper 1 will have 60 questions out of which 50 questions must be attempted while paper II and III will carry 50 and 75 questions respectively where all the questions are compulsory.
