Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, November 15: State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) Commission, Assam has released the application form of SET 2019 in online mode. Aspiring candidates can fill SET application form till December 31, 2018. Candidates who have a post-graduation degree with minimum of 55% marks (for general category) and 50% (for the reserved category) can fill the SET application form 2019.
In order to fill the application form of SET(SLET), candidates are required to complete their registration process by entering their name, email ID, and mobile number. After registration, a registration ID and password will be generated which will be sent to the candidates through email and SMS. Candidates are advised to keep the registration ID and password safe with themselves as it will help them at later stages.
After registration, candidates have to complete five stages of the application procedure - filling up of details, uploading of image/documents (as per the required specifications), payment of application fee in offline mode, final submission, and print out of SET application form 2019. As per the exam conducting authority, candidates belonging to general category will have to pay Rs. 800 whereas OBC, SC/ST and PWD candidates will have to pay Rs. 650, 600 and 400 respectively.
SET admit card is expected to be available in the third week of February 2019, while the examination (SET 2019) is scheduled to be held on March 3. The answer key will be released after seven days of examination while the result may be declared in the last week of July, 2019.
SLET Commission conducts this exam for the recruitment of Assistant Lecturers at institutes/colleges/universities in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura. Also, from this year onwards, SET(SLET) will be held for two papers, earlier, the exam was conducted for three papers.
