Shoolini University signs MoU with Taiwan University

NEW DELHI: Shoolini University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chang Gung University, Taiwan on November 23. The Memorandum of Understanding between both universities has been signed for an students exchange programme at undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. level.
Both institutions have promised to offer residential facilities, fellowship and various opportunities for future research funding as initial support to eligible students. Faculties from both universities have set certain goals to research related activities such as drug discovery for disease like osteoporosis, microbial infection, asthma, and CNS disorders, and implementation of the interdisciplinary approach of biological disciplines.
The meeting was organised online where TL Hwang from Taiwan University and Vice Chancellor PK Khosla from Shoolini University signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
PK Khosla shared the research achievements of Shoolini University and talked about the ranking across the globe. He also mentioned that seven faculty members of Shoolini University are under 2 percent of the global list of scientists, released by Stanford University.
TL Hwang and Sunil Kumar also gave a presentation about the achievements of Chang Gung University, Taiwan. From Shoolini, Saurabh Kulshreshtha, Dean Research and Deepak Kapoor, Dean Pharmacy presented academic and research profiles of the University.
Rohit Goyal, Controller of Examination (COE) of Shoolini University talked about the possibilities of natural products-based research aligning with the aim of Shoolini University which aims to harness the Himalayan biodiversity.
