SLET 2019 Result Declared; 926 candidates qualified

NEW DELHI, June 26: SLET commission has announced the result of SET 2019 on June 26, 2019. As per the result announced, there are a total of 926 candidates who have qualified the SET exam. The result has been announced in terms of roll number of the successful candidates who have appeared in the test held on March 3. To check the result, candidates must visit the official website of the exam authority and click on the result link. As per the recent notification by UGC, only 6% of the appearing candidates have been declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant in SLET exam.

SET result 2019 contains the roll numbers of all the qualified candidates. Only those candidates have qualified the test who have scored the minimum qualifying marks - 40% (for general) and 35% (for reserved candidates) along with scoring the minimum cut off marks determined by the examination authority.

The exam was conducted for two papers - paper I and II. The test for paper I was conducted for 50 questions of 2 marks each while paper II was conducted for 100 questions for a total of 200 marks 2 marks each. Candidates were given 1 hour and 2 hours to complete paper I and II respectively.

The marks statement of the SET exam will be issued to the candidates within 7 days from the declaration of the result on the official website sletne.org.

SET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors across the institutes/colleges/universities of the north eastern states – Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Sikkim.
