SMIT B.Tech 2019 application form released; exam to be held on April 28

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER- 6: Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology has announced all the dates related to SMIT B.Tech entrance examination. The authorities have also released the application form of SMIT B.Tech 2019 on December 6. The application form is available both in online and offline mode for all eligible candidates. The last date to fill and submit the application form for offline entrance examination is April 15.
SMIT B.Tech offline entrance examination will be held on April 28, 2019. The entrance examination will be conducted at around 32 tests centres across India which will include objective type questions. Candidates will be available to view their result on May 5, 2019. However, candidates who will apply through JEE Main score will be exempted from SMIT offline test. Such candidates are directly eligible for the admission based on their JEE Main scores. Though these candidates will have to fill the application form within the given due date.
How to apply for SMIT B.Tech offline test 2019?
Candidates can fill the application form in both online and offline mode. To fill the application in online mode, candidates will have to visit the official website and register for the entrance exam. To register candidates will require their email id, mobile number course applying for and other required details. On successful registration, proceed further to fill the application form where candidates will have to enter academic, personal, contact and communication details. Also, candidates will have to upload the required documents in the prescribed format. Once done pay the application fee of Rs 1000 in online mode and submit the application form. Ensure to take the printout of application form once submitted.
How to apply in offline mode?
In order to apply offline, candidates will have to download the application form from the official website. Fill all the required details, paste photograph and pay application fee through Demand Draft (DD) draw in favour of Sikkim Manipal University, and payable at Gangtok. Finally, send the completed application form along with the DD to the university.
Who are eligible to apply?
As per the prescribed eligibility criteria, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates). Apart from meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates also require to qualify any on the given below exam to be eligible for admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by the institute:

- MET 2019
