SOF IMO Level 1 cutoff 2018 - 19 released; result to be declared soon

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 10, 2019 : International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) level 1 cutoff for 2018-19 for class 3 to 12 has been declared by the Science Olympiad Foundation. The SOF IMO exam was conducted on December 4, 13 and 18, 2018. Students who qualify the score as per IMO cut off 2018 are eligible for the level 2 exam. SOF IMO result 2018-19 will also be declared within a week.

for cut off marks. These cut off marks are applicable to determine top 5% students class wise and are eligible for level 2, to be held on 9th & 10th Feb 2019. In case, if more than one student score same total marks, marks obtained section wise are considered to determine qualifiers for level 2. Weightage is given to sections in the following order:

In addition to above, students achieving the following ranks are also eligible for level 2 Olympiads:

Class toppers, where at least 10 students from a class appeared for SOF IMO.

Top 25 rank holders, class-wise, from each Zone.

In case student’s total marks are more than total cut off marks above, she/ he will qualify for the 2nd level, without referring to section wise marks.

In case student’s total marks are less than total cut off marks above, she/ he will not qualify for the 2nd level, without referring to section wise marks.

In case student’s total marks are equal to the total cut off marks above, section wise marks will be considered to determine 2nd level qualification
