SRCC placement concludes: Over 350 offers, 100 plus recruiters; Highest package at Rs 25 lakh

NEW DELHI: Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce concluded the placement drive for the session 2020-21. SRCC of Commerce witnessed an all-time high of over 350 offers and 100 plus recruiters from diverse sectors,
The placements at Shri Ram College of Commerce have set new records. with a record 32.34% increment in the gross value of offers, according to the Indian Express report. The highest package offered is Rs 25 lakh and the average salary was up to Rs 8.3 lakh, the report said.
The SRCC placement cell has facilitated the recruitment drives of recruiters across domains like finance, consulting, marketing and many more over the course of its functioning, providing various opportunities like placements, internships, articleships to the students.
The summer internship offers also saw an upward trend with the highest stipend at Rs 1.5 lakh per month, while the average stipend was at Rs 34,000 per month, the report added.
“Consulting firms including McKinsey & Company, Bain Capability Network, financial institutions like Deutsche Bank, Citibank, and several first-time highest category recruiters including Kepler Cannon, Accenture Strategy hired students from the college for multiple business domains.”
The SRCC official website stated that the placement cell took up initiatives like CV Vetting, numerous training sessions on a wide range of topics along with “compilation of training resources like Casebooks as well as other social media campaigns to develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with various stakeholders of the Cell”.
