NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close Combined Graduate Level Examination 2023 (SSC CGL 2023) application form window tomorrow, May 3. Candidates who wish to appear in the SSC CGL exam 2023 scheduled in July will have to register on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Meanwhile, aspirants continue to protest over the SSC CGL age reckoning issue.

The commission issued the SSC CGL notification 2023 on April 3 and began the registration process for the July session. As per the eligibility criteria, the age limit will be counted as on August 1, 2023 for various posts instead of January 1, 2023. However, several aspirants have been demanding to revise the age cut-off date as they do not qualify the criteria set by the commission now.

Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility will have to register by paying the requisite fee on the SSC official website, ssc.nic.in. The last date to deposit the fee and generate challan is May 4. The SSC CGL 2023 examination is conducted for recruitment for various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different ministries, departments, organisations of Government of India etc will have to check the eligibility criteria before registering. SSC CGL 2023 is done to fill around 7,500 vacancies.

SSC CGL photograph, signature size

While filling the SSC CGL 2023 application, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph and signature. The photograph of the candidate should not be more than three months old. Candidates should not be wearing cap and spectacles. The frontal view of the face should be clearly visible. Applications with blurred photograph and signature will be rejected.
