NEW DELHI, MAY 17: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card for SSC CGL Tier 1 exam for Western & Southern region. The admit card of SSC CGL is available online on the official website of SSC. SSC CGL admit card for tier 1 can be downloaded till the day of examination. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be held from June 4 to 19, 2019. Check steps to download the admit card for tier 1 below.

How to download SSC CGL Admit Card?

Go to the official website of SSC - ssc.nic.in

Click on the admit card tab where the region-wise link appears on the screen

Select the region you have applied for to download the SSC CGL Admit Card

Click on the admit card of SSC CGL Tier 1, link available there
-
Enter registration number/roll number and date of birth or name, father’s name and date of birth

The admit card will appear on the screen

SSC CGL admit card carries details like roll number, ticket number, password, exam date, reporting time, entry time, exam time and exam centre, applicant’s name, date of birth, address, sex, category, photograph, and signature. Candidates must ensure that all the details specified in the admit card must be correct.
In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must immediately get it changed. Only those candidates who have successfully filled the application form have been issued SSC CGL call letter. Along with the admit card, candidates must carry any one photo- identity proof on the day of the examination.
SSC CGL Tier 1 examination comprises four subjects - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. There will be a total 100 questions where candidates will be given 60 minutes to answer. There is negative marking scheme of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer. Total marks allotted for the tier 1 exam is 200.
SSC CGL is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for Group B and C posts in various ministries/ departments/ organizations such as Indian Audit and Accounts Department under CAG, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of External Affairs, Central Bureau of Investigation, Central Bureau of Narcotics, National Investigation Agency (NIA), etc.
