SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 out; 1,86,509 declared qualified, category-wise cut-offs for all posts

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) tier 1 result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the results on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The commission declared the category-wise cut-off marks in the form of three different lists including list 1, list 2 and list 3.
“Based on marks scored in Tier-I Examination, candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II examination. Separate cut-offs have been fixed for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) (List-1), Statistical Investigator Grade-II (SI) (List-2) and all other posts (List-3),” the official notice read.
As per the official notice, a total of 1,86,509 candidates have qualified in the SSC CGL tier 1 exam and are eligible to appear for the next stage, the SSC CGL tier 2 exam. Out of the total qualified candidates, 8,436 candidates for Junior Statistical Officer posts, 2,833 for Statistical Investigator Gr. II and 1,65,240 for all other posts have been shortlisted for the tier 2 exam.
SSC CGL tier 2 exam is scheduled to be held on January 18, 19, 20, 2025. The SSC conducted the CGL Tier 1 exam, 2024, in CBT mode from September 9 to 26, 2024. Candidates will have to score a minimum of 30% in Tier 1 for the Unreserved (UR) category, 25% for Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 20% for all other categories to qualify.

Candidates can check the SSC CGL tier 1 cut-off 2024 for list 1 to appear in tier 2 for the post of junior statistical officer.
