NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the typing test for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2024 held on January 18, 2025 following reports of technical glitches. A re-exam will be held on January 31.
“Whereas, instances of technical glitches were reported during the conduct of the Typing Test (Data Entry Speed Test) for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024, held in Shift-II on 18th January 2025, it has been decided to cancel the aforementioned Typing Test (Data Entry Speed Test) conducted during Shift-II on 18th January 2025,” the commission said in an official notice.
“Now, therefore, the Typing Test (Data Entry Speed Test) of the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024, conducted in Shift-II on 18th January 2025, stands cancelled,” it added.
Now, the Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) of the SSC CGL has been rescheduled to January 31, 2025. The exam will commence from 1 pm.
The commission informed that SSC CGL admit card 2025 for re-exam will be issued on January 27, 2025. “All concerned candidates are advised to visit the SSC website regularly for further updates,” SSC further stated.
Recently, the commission informed that 609 additional candidates have been allowed to appear for the Tier 2 exam scheduled for January 20, following the orders of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). SSC has also revised the SSC CGL Tier 1 result declared in December last year, and the SSC CGL cut-off for the list 3 posts. A total of 1,65,240 candidates were shortlisted for appearing in Tier 2 exam.
