SSC CHSL 2018 Tier 1 Exam Conducted; 13.17 lakh Candidates Appeared in 25 Shifts

NEW DELHI, JULY 13: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has conducted SSC CHSL 2018 from July 1 to 11, 2019. According to the official notice issued by SSC, a total of 29.68 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. Out of total registered candidates, around 13.17 lakh candidates appeared in SSC CHSL 2018 tier 1 exam.

SSC CHSL tier 1 recorded an overall 44.37 percentage attendance in the exam held for 9 days. SSC has conducted tier 1 exam in 33 States/Union Territories across 361 venues in 146 cities in India. As per the exam pattern, there were four subjects -General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.

The exam was conducted in 25 shifts carrying 200 marks. SSC has also announced the result date of SSC CHSL 2018 which is to be declared on September 11, 2019. Before the announcement of the result, the examination authority will release the provisional answer key of the tier.

With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to check result and match their answers. Candidates will be also provided with the facility to raise objection in case of any discrepancy in the answer. After getting those challenges rectified by the experts SSC will release the final answer key of SSC CHSL 2018.

Candidates who will qualify SSC CHSL 2018 tIER 1 exam will be eligible to appear Tier 2 exam which is scheduled to be conducted on September 29, 2019. SSC CHSL is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to post of Data Entry Operator, Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant and Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.
