Submit post preferences for SSC CHSL 2024; commission finalises 3,437 vacancies

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final vacancies for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam 2024 and commenced the option-cum-preference facility. Candidates who appeared for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam can submit their post preferences online through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The last date to submit the options is February 8, 2025.
“Accordingly, all candidates, who have appeared in Tier-II, are advised to submit their Option-cumPreference for post(s)/Department(s) for CHSLE-2024 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e., https://ssc.gov.in wherein facility for submission of Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) will be available under My Application Tab, which will remain active during the period from 04.02.2025 (06:00 PM) to 08.02.2025 (11:59 PM),” said SSC in an official notice.
The commission informed that candidates who fail to exercise their option-cum-preference during the given period will not be given any further opportunity for submission of their option-cum-preference and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list or final selection.

“PwBD candidates must ensure that they give preference for only those posts which are identified as suitable for their disabilities,” SSC added.
