NEW DELHI, JANUARY 24: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) may release the notification along with the application form of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2019 on January 25.  An official from the SSC central region quoted Indian Express “The notification for the CHSL 2019 recruitment will be released by Friday, January 25, 2019. The candidates can apply through the official website,"

Applicants who are between 18 to 27 years and have completed Class 12/ HSC can apply for SSC CHSL. The application form can be filled in two parts - Part I (Registration) and Part II (filling the detailed form). In part I of registration, candidates will have to fill details - name, parents’ name, address, academic qualification, contact details, details of any one photo -identity proof like Aadhar card, Voter ID card etc.

While in part II, candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph (4kb to 12kb) and signature (1kb to 12 kb) and pay the requisite application fee. Candidates belonging to General and OBC category will have to pay Rs. 100 whereas women from all categories, SC, ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen are exempted from fee payment. The fee can be paid either in online or offline mode through Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/Maestro Credit/ Debit card or Bank Challan.

Post the submission of application form, candidates must keep a copy of it for future references. SSC conducts SSC CHSL exam for the recruitment of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant in various Ministries/Departments/Organisations. The selection process includes 3 tiers - tier 1 (Computer Based Test) tier 2 (Pen and Paper test) and tier 3 (Typing/Skill Test ).
