A total of 3,642 candidates have been declared qualified in Paper 1 and will now appear for the second stage. Paper 2 is a descriptive examination conducted in pen-and-paper mode for 200 marks. It evaluates candidates’ proficiency in Hindi and English through translation tasks and essay writing in both languages.
As per the revised vacancy list shared by the Commission, the recruitment drive will fill 552 posts, increased from the initially announced 437. The computer-based Paper 1 was held on August 12 and recorded 6,332 candidates appearing for the exam.

Candidates who are declared qualified in SSC CHT Paper 2 will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which is Document Verification (DV).
