SSC CHT 2024 paper 2 descriptive exam on March 29; stenographer grade C, D vacancies announced

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the Combined Hindi Translator Examination (CHTE) 2024 paper 2 descriptive exam. Eligible candidates who are declared qualified in the computer-based exam will have to appear for the SSC CHTE 2024 paper 2 descriptive exam scheduled to be held on March 29.

The SSC has already issued the SSC CHTE final answer key 2024 along with candidates’ response sheets and marks. Candidates can download the SSC CHT 2024 scorecard by April 4 through the official website at ssc.gov.in. Candidates will have to use their login details such as registration ID and password to download the SSC CHTE scorecard 2024.

SSC CHT 2024 result was declared for paper 1 on February 14, 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 312 vacancies for various group ‘B’ non-gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator for various ministries, departments, and organisations.

The commission has also announced the tentative vacancies for the SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' examination, 2024. The vacancies are subject to change based on future updates from the authorities. As per the official announcement, the SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,926 Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' posts. Out of these, 1,687 posts are reserved for the Stenographer Grade 'D' posts and 239 for Stenographer Grade 'C' posts.
