SSC CPO 2018 PET and PST Dates Announced; Exam to be Held from July 22

NEW DELHI, JULY 9: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates of SSC SI Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). As per the official notice released by SSC, PET & PST will be held from July 22 to 31, 2019. Only those candidates who have been selected based on SSC CPO 2018 paper I exam will be eligibile to appear for PET & PST.

The admit card of SSC CPO for PET& PST is expected to be released soon. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the regional website of SSC - ssc.nic.in. To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter registration number/roll number and roll number.

SSC CPO 2018 PET/PST is qualifying in nature. To appear for paper II exam candidates first need to qualify the physical test. However, Ex-Servicemen who have applied for SSC SI are not required to undergo PET.

The selection of the candidates to the different posts will be done on the basis marks obtained by the candidates Paper-I and Paper-II. After qualifying paper II, candidates will be shortlisted for Medical Examination. Selected candidates in Medical Examination will be called for detailed Document Verification. After which the final merit list will be published by SSC.

Based on the final merit list candidates will be selected for the preferred posts they have applied for. SSC conducts CPO exam for the recruitment of candidates to SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Si in CISF.
