SSC CPO answer key 2024 soon at ssc.gov.in; marking scheme, selection criteria

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon issue the SSC CPO answer key 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to download the SSC CPO provisional answer key 2024 by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the SSC CPO 2024 answer key. The commission conducted the SSC CPO exam on June 27, 28 and 29, 2024. Once the answer key is out, candidates will be able to raise objections through the official website.
The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 4,187 posts. Among these, 125 posts are reserved for male Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in Delhi Police, 61 for female SI candidates in Delhi Police, and the remaining 4,001 positions are allocated for SI candidates within Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

SSC CPO 2024: Selection process
The SSC CPO 2024 selection process include four stages. In the first stage, candidates take an objective-type written exam. Those who qualify proceed to the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The third stage involves a descriptive exam (Paper 2). After clearing this exam, candidates undergo a medical test conducted by medical officers from the CAPFs, central, or state government hospitals.
SSC CPO paper 1 carries 200 multiple-choice questions. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark, while each incorrect answer incurs a penalty of 0.25 marks. The duration of SSC CPO 2024 Paper 1 is 2 hours.
